Aurea Yadith Cordero is a Nurse Practitioner for Water Gap Wellness, certified in adult gerontology and psychiatry. Her mission in life is to help others to take responsibility for their own lives and to understand their infinite capabilities. Aurea was born in San Jose, Costa Rica, moved to the United States in 2000, and it has been a wonderful adventure!
Aurea started working in a Behavioral Unit in 2001 as a nursing assistant, then graduated as an RN in 2007 from Cedar Crest College. She obtained a master’s degree from Walden University as a NP with a specialization in gerontology and then a post-master’s degree from Wilkes University in psychiatry. Aurea absolutely loves her job and thoroughly enjoys working with people! Aurea also loves nature and music, as well as animals.
Aurea enjoys helping clients at Water Gap Wellness manage their challenges more effectively and live more fulfilling lives.
