Wellness Coordinator

Responsibilities

• CNA certification from the State of Pennsylvania
• Med Tech or phlebotomy certification a plus
• 1 year + as a CNA preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Positive customer service attitude.
• He/She may also be required to perform some clerical duties, such as answering of phones, placing order entry, MAR updates and processing of charts.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
• He/She may be required to perform other duties that may be needed by the supervising registered nurse or physician.
• Under the supervision and direction of the registered nurse, he/she will provide nursing care to the guests.
• He/She will perform certain basic nursing duties as instructed by a nurse or physician, including CPR, taking and documenting vital signs and urine screens, carrying out dressings, observing and documenting signs and symptoms of diseases or circumstances that are common, and administering guests’ treatments according to the nurse or physicians’ order.
• He/She will ensure there is adequate supplies of materials used in providing guest care at all times by stocking and maintaining supplies at supply points.
• Ensure that guests’ care data is recorded.

Education & Training

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred 
• Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in healthcare preferred
• Venipuncture and TB skin testing experience, current CPR, AED and first aid, Preferred 
• Experience in addiction, mental health and behavioral health preferred. 
• Excellent verbal, written and computer skills.
• CPR/First Aid Certification is required for this position. If not CPR/First Aid certified at time of hire, certification must be obtained within the state mandated time frame after first day of employment.
