Responsibilities

Coordinate check-in and admissions process with other departments to ensure the safety  of the guests. 

• Document observations and communicate concerns to the appropriate department. • Maintain professional boundaries at all times.
• Provide a supportive environment to guests at all times.
• Accompany guests to meals, appointments, and other related activities.
• Facilitate or co-facilitate activities.
• Attend monthly staff meetings or scheduled trainings.
• Provide transportation as needed.
• Continually sanitize surface areas, sweep floors, and tidy up unkempt spaces to maintain a clean environment. 
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Special Skills, Equipment & Other Requirements

• Basic computer knowledge. 
• Ability to work in a supportive, caring, and non-judgmental manner with colleagues and  guests. 
• Function calmly in urgent situations. 
• Ability to plan and organize work and communicate ideas orally and in writing.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, patients, outside  agencies, families and general public.
• Effective and professional communication skills are required.

Physical Demands

• Must be able to lift 40 lbs. and be able to lift and carry articles such as mail order boxes,  laundry baskets, etc. 
• Requires walking around and standing as you carry out job functions.
• Should be physically fit and agile to ensure the safety of guests.
